Scott is the 18.2 Assistant Coach for the 2009-10 club season.

Scott was the 900 17 Mizuno Assistant Coach for the 2006 - 2007 and 2007 - 2008 seasons & 0900.17.2 Assistant Coach for 2008-09.

This will be his fourth year with 900. Scott is CAP I and IMPACT certified.

Scott has been involved with volleyball since 1981. His sophomore year at Richland High School he and 5 other guys worked out with the Varsity girl’s volleyball coach. That next summer the varsity coach asked him to help with tryouts and two-a-days. His junior year he was the assistant coach and team manager for the Richland varsity team. His senior year he coached the girl’s sophomore team at Richland.

From 1985 to 1992 He played men’s AA volleyball. His teams went to 7 Final Fours and won 3 TAAF (Texas Amateur Athletic Federation) Championships during those years.

In 1989, Scott founded TNT Volleyball with Rick Johansen, the former Grapevine coach who coached Meredith Grady (Van Horn). He coached for TNT from 1989 - 2002. During this time he coached many great athletes, including Stacy Sykora – National Team Libero, in the last 3 Olympics, Kim Williamson (Bolin), Ranee Hoss (Lloyd) & Meredith Grady (Van Horn). His wife, Sherry, played volleyball at Dallas Baptist University. They were married in 1996.
