He has played against/with some of the Stanford men’s volleyball players at City Beach (Santa Clara, CA) and the UCLA men’s team at the Wooden Center.
Hermosa Beach, CA
Kerry learned to play sand volleyball on Hermosa Beach. It was a rough transition from indoor to outdoor where he suffered many losses. Eventually through sheer determination and a strong dislike of losing, Kerry grew into the game and held his own. He played in one tournament while in LA, a blind draw weighted tournament in Estero Beach, Mexico where he finished 9th out of 150+ men’s teams!
Dallas, TX
He has continued to play sand volleyball after moving to Dallas for graduate school.
Kerry is IMPACT & CAP I Certified.
