Jamie enters her fourth year as a club coach, her third year with 900VB. After graduating college and moving back to DFW, she has coached the Freshmen team at Harwood Junior High, the Mid-Cities Black Panthers club team, and is currently the Varsity Coach at Colleyville Heritage High School.

Jamie graduated from Trinity High School in 2001, she played Varsity there for 3 years under Susan Kaufman. While at THS she compiled many school records as she lead her teams into the playoffs.

Her senior year at Trinity she led her team to the play-offs where they lost to Arlington High School. The awards she collected through her high school and college career include: 2001 NESPY’s - NorthEast Sports Performers of the Year - Female Athlete of the Year Finalist Awards of Excellence - Athlete of the Year - 2000-2001, First volleyball player from Trinity to go to a Division I school on a volleyball scholarship – 2001, Academic All-State - 2000, MVP Trinity High School - 2000, 1st Team All-Area - Dallas Morning News - 2000, 2nd Team All-Area - Ft. Worth Star-Telegram - 2000, Setter of the Year All-District 7-5A - 2000, 1st Team All-District 7-5A - 2000, All - Tournament Team - Skyline Tournament -2000, All-Tournament Team-Advantage Sports Tournament (formally Oshmans Tournament) - 2000, All - Tournament Team - Skyline Tournament - 1999, 1st Team All - District 6-5A - 1999, Outstanding Setter Award - Trinity High School - 1999, Offensive Player of the Year - Trinity High School - 1999, Most Saves Award - Trinity High School - 1999, Most Aces Award - Trinity High School - 1999, Academic All - District 6-5A - 1998 & 1999, Rookie of the Year - Trinity High School - 1998, Outstanding Achievement Award - Trinity High School - 1998, Honorable Mention All-District 6-5A – 1998.

After her senior year, she played club volleyball for TNT under Rick Johansen.

She chose to go to Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, to continue her volleyball career. While at Austin Peay State University, she was a four-year starter along with 900 Coach : Julie Burkhalter. She ended up 2nd in All-Time Assists – Austin Peay State University, 2001-2005, and received the Most Improved Award for her freshman year there, 2002.  In 2002 her Women's team competed in Adult Nationals, they finished 2nd in Women’s A Division (she played with Meredith Van Horn).  She played on the 900 sponsored Women's team at Adult Regionals in 2009, the team placed 2nd & played on the 900 Coed Team that placed 3rd at Adult Nationals in 2009!

Jamie is also a Private Lesson & Team Camp Instructor for 900VB.
