
Danielle is excited to share her knowledge and energy as a Rover Coach for 900VB during the 2009-2010 club season.
This is Danielle’s fifth year coaching club and first year at 900VB.
Danielle played Varsity for 3 years at Grapevine High School as a setter and outside hitter. Danielle was a Captain earned All-District in 1998, 1999 and 2000! Danielle played club for the top TAV 18s team as a libero and outside hitter. She was a Co-Captain and helped her team earn 5th at Nationals in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She earned an academic scholarship to McMurry University in Abilene, where she served as floor and team Captain all four years. She is in the National Top 20 NCAA for All Time Dig Average and has set over 5 records not only for McMurry volleyball, but also for the American Southwest Conference (ASC). She also played tennis at McMurry and currently holds the record for most wins in a row on and finished first in singles competing in the fourth spot at Conference. She was named “Female Athlete of the Year" and earned the "Sportsmanship Award” by the ASC. She received 10 Academic All Conference Awards for volleyball and tennis. In May 2005, Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and went through the pre-medical program and had her Scientific Research Paper published in a magazine.
Danielle is starting her third year at Colleyville Heritage High School where she is head of the Biology Department and is coaching volleyball and golf. She also is a certified Massage Therapist and practices in her spare time.
Danielle took the greatest plunge this summer and got married! She is looking forward to a wonderful and blissful first year of marriage.
