Alisa "AJ" will be the 900.15.2 Assisant Coach for the 2009-10 club season.
Alisa is entering her forth year as a club volleyball coach and second year with 900VB.
She was the 15.1 Assistant Coach for the 2008-09 club season.
Alisa played 3 years of varsity level volleyball under Danny Vernor at Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas. As a junior, she was named second team all-district and all-West Texas. As a senior, she was named all-tournament in Rockwall and San Angelo, first team all-district, second team all-state, All-West Texas outstanding outside hitter, and Texas Girls Coaches Association (TCA) all-star. As a senior, Alisa was also awarded first team all-district in softball as a pitcher.
Alisa received a full scholarship to play Division 1 volleyball at Lamar University in the Southland Conference. At Lamar, she played three years as an outside hitter. She graduated from Lamar in 2006 with a degree in Communication Disorders then completed her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas.
She played on the 900 sponsored Women's team at Adult Regionals in 2009, the team placed 2nd and she wsa named to the All-Tournament Team! AJ also played on the 900 Coed Team that placed 3rd at Adult Nationals in 2009.
Alisa is currently a Speech Therapist in Irving, TX.
